Marcel has been an artist for over 40 years, and holds an MA in Biomedical Illustration. She brings a precision for detail, a steady and confident hand, and a deep understanding of color theory, facial anatomy and proportion. She has taught drawing and painting for many years, in both the public and private sector. She brings years of experience, a calm demeanor and relaxation techniques for a gentle experience.

Trained in the Softap hand method of micropigmentation techniques, Marcel has done advanced training with the top leaders in the permanent makeup industry. Her trainings include microblading, advanced eyeliner techniques, areola restoration, color theory for the skin, corrections, scar camouflage, and all aspects of permanent makeup. She is also certified for removal with Tattoo Vanish.

Marcel is committed to providing the best service and results. Sometimes being a perfectionist is a good thing: she was awarded the Best Permanent Cosmetic Artist in San Pedro for the last four years straight.. Marcel uses Softap pigments and tools, made in the USA, providing cruelty-free, high quality products for a safe and minimally invasive experience.

Marcel has a long-term relationship with yoga. As a former ballet dancer and gymnast, she brings a love of movement, combined with extensive yoga and Pilates trainings and certifications in yoga therapy, vinyasa krama, kundalini, yoga nidra, restorative, pranayama, meditation, Ayurveda, yoga philosophy. She holds  certifications through YogaFit (200) and Loyola Marymount University (500 YTRx), as well as advanced yoga therapy with the Optimal State of Yoga. Marcel is also a Buteyko Breath educator, through Essential Yoga Therapy and the Buteyko Clinic. Marcel is  a certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy, and enjoys further immersion by studying with yoga masters in India. She also holds a teacher certification in  qi gong, with Lee Holden.
